Pot Infusions
Pot infusions are a great DIY way to make your home smell amazing.
Your home will smell like you sprayed air freshener!
The instructions are super easy to follow and you probably have everything you need already in your home.
Fill a small or medium-sized pot with water and bring it to a boil.
Once the water is boiling add these ingredients and let it all boil for one minute.
1. lavender pot infusion
- 1 Cup Dried Lavender
- 1 TSP Anise
- 1 TSP Nutmeg
- 1 TSP Whole Cloves
- 1 Cinnamon Stick
2. coffe cake pot infusion
- 1/4 cup Coffee Beans
- 1 TSP Vanilla Extract
- 1 Cinnamon stick
3. fresh smelling pot infusion
- 5 Sprigs Fresh Thyme
- Sliced Grapefruit
- 1 Lemon Sliced
- 1 TSP Vanilla Extract
4. cotton balls in trash can
Put essentials oils on a few cotton balls and place them at the bottom of your trash can.
It will infuse your entire kitchen with the scent. My favorites are eucalyptus, lavender, and rosemary.

Sprinkle a half-cup of baking soda into the opening of the garbage disposal.
Pour in a cup of white vinegar and let it sit for 10 minutes.
Turn on the garbage disposal and allow hot water to rinse away the baking soda mixture.
7. throw out your garbage regularly
Always make sure to regularly throw out your full garbage bags. Try your best not to leave open food in the garbage can.
Don't throw any fish or meat in your garbage can.
Rinse any containers that hold fish or meat before throwing them out.
After you remove the garbage bag, sprinkle a little baking soda in the bottom of the can to help absorb odors.
