Are you sick of relying on one stream of income? Are you ready to earn money outside of your 9-5 job?
You’ve come to the right place! I’m going to give you some of the best ways women earn passive money online.
There are so many ways women can earn money from home.
As someone who works from home myself, I definitely prefer it over a 9-5 job. You’re able to have multiple streams of income online, something that is difficult to do in person!
Having one stream of income can be very stressful & dangerous.
You never know what could happen in your job, so you always want to be prepared for anything.
It’s important to diversify your income so if you lose your primary job you will have other sources of income that can replace it.
It’s much easier to have multiple streams of income online than in person.
In person you would have to take a more active approach to earning money versus online you can always automate your income streams!
As someone who works online myself, a lot of my income streams are automated.
I currently have 5 income streams solely online! If I had 5 jobs offline I would not be able to do it!
I’m excited to share with you my favorite ways to make money online and some more incredibly smart ways women do it!
SIDE INCOME IDEAS
1. Affiliate Links
You have seen your favorite influencer or blogger promoting affiliate links on their pages, but may be confused on how they make money from it.
Making money with affiliate links is one of the best ways for women to earn passive money online from home!
An affiliate link is a unique URL that allows you to make a percentage of income from a visitor’s purchase.
These links contain your affiliate ID or username so you can receive credit for driving traffic to the website.
Every commission percentage is different varying from 5-30%! There are many affiliate marketing programs that are perfect for beginners.
My favorite beginner-friendly affiliate programs are Amazon, RewardStyle, Rakuten, and Shareasale.
Before becoming an affiliate marketer figure out what social media platform you want to promote your affiliate links on.
It’s very difficult to promote your links on YouTube, Instagram, or Tik Tok is you haven’t cultivated a huge following!
If you’re someone with a small following and you want to make money from affiliate links I suggest posting links on Pinterest.
Pinterest is a great social media as a beginner at affiliate links because you don’t need a large following to drive clicks to your links.
All you need to do is post consistently and Pinterest will push your content!
When becoming an affiliate marketer analyze your statistics. Pay attention to what is performing the best, which products drive the most traffic?
Start posting very similar products or repost the same product throughout the week to increase traffic.
Statistics come in handy for that very reason!
When you’re able to see what is performing the best on your social media, you know what kind of products you can focus on promoting.
Niching down when it comes to promoting products is very important as well.
If your analytics are showing that people are clicking your beauty product affiliate links to high rates stick to beauty products.
If you decide to post a lawn mower tomorrow your audience may be confused!
You begin to lose audience trust, you want to make sure you are posting products you genuinely enjoy.
You can also exclusively post products that have the highest rate of commission.
Just make sure you actually enjoy these products. The most authentic reviews are the best way to get the most conversions.
2. Digital Products
Creating digital products are incredibly creative ways to make money online.
I love this income stream because you are seriously making money in your sleep!
Physical products can be an absolute headache to deal with.
You have to stress out with the complexities like manufacturing, importing, shipping, and inventory… Make your life way easier by making digital products!
Digital products are way easier to create. They are cheaper to create if you have the right programs & tools. They are easier to distribute & they can be more profitable!
People are always looking to purchase digital products to make their lives easier. It’s important to figure out what type of digital products you’re interested in selling.
The most popular digital products are graphics & digital arts, fonts, photography, documents, spreadsheets, planners, & ebooks!
You need to choose a platform to sell your products on. As a beginner in selling products websites like Etsy & Shopify are great ways to start.
Marketing is very important when trying to gather an audience to purchase your products.
Make sure you’re promoting your products on all social media platforms.
Pinterest is a great social media platform to promote your products on because you’re about to add a direct link to your website for people to purchase it.
3. Virtual tutoring or courses
If you’re an expert in any subject or topic, you may want to look into virtual tutoring.
Becoming an online tutor is a great way to earn passive money on the side.
The more qualified you are, the more valuable you will be to your future students. Udemy, Brainfuse, and Tutor.com are great websites to sign up for.
If you’re a teacher or someone who wants to profit from your expertise this is something you should seriously look into!
It’s a great way to make money on the side while helping others who need it.
People are always looking for experts to help them improve on a skill or subject.
Releasing an online course is a way you can make passive income.
For your online course to gain traffic it’s usually important to have a social media following or to be able to rank high in SEO.
Before releasing an online course I would focus on creating a blog (I talk more about this in Step 5) or a social media platform to funnel people into your course. If people don’t know you, why would they buy your course?
Building a community is the most important thing to focus on if you want to sell a course that people will want to buy.
Having a blog that gains traffic & views from teaching people how to advance in a subject will make it more likely for them to be interesting in purchasing a course.
Incentivize people to leave positive reviews and ratings! If you’re providing an amazing course people will want to rave about how much they enjoyed it. Give them an experience they will never forget.
As everyone who buys your course to leave an authentic review.
Ask them to let you know if there is anything you could improve on or add to the course to make their experience better.
4. Online Translation Services
If you can speak more than one language this may be the perfect side hustle for you!
Online translators will often convert speeches, conversations, and other types of text from their original language to another language.
To become an online translator you must be fluent in at least two languages and have a good understanding of the cultural expressions and social influences on the different forms of communication.
The best websites to sign up to be an online translator are Gengo, Upwork, PeoplePerHour, and TranslationDirectory.
Choose your translation niche. Many women specialize in a particular industry.
You can focus on industries such as legal or literary translations.
Niching down will help you attract specific clients who need translations in your area of expertise.
As you start to do work for people make sure you are building your portfolio!
This way you can showcase your translation skills and demonstrate your abilities to potential clients.
Set your rates on how complex the project is, your expertise, but also the turn around time.
The most positive reviews you receive, you can charge more money!
Keep learning to improve your language skills.
Stay focused on expanding your knowledge to provide the best translations.
5. Start a Blog
Starting a blog will certainly be a more difficult way to make passive income, but if you put in the work you will reap the rewards.
There are many women that make six figures from blogging online, but it doesn’t come easy!
If you want to seriously make money blogging you need to look at your blog as a business.
Yes, it’s very important to be passionate about what you’re blogging about! But, it is also important for you to choose a profitable niche.
This means you can’t post on your blog once a month & expect the money to be pouring in.
For women to earn passive money online from blogging you have to post at least once a week!
The more consistent you are, the more traffic & views you will gain on your website.

The first ad agency most bloggers enter as a newbie is Google Adsense.
Google Adsense is the lowest paying agency, but once you grow your page views you will be able to apply to bigger agencies like Media Vine and Adthrive.
Placing affiliate links in blog posts is my favorite way to make money blogging.
I love this because even if your blog post is 2 years old you can still make money from your links when people click them!
